20 years of work experience, either in big advertising agencies, small design studios, or as a freelancer and even directing my own design company. 20 years of odd hours, big edits, bizarre briefs and tricky workloads. And loving every minute of it.
I became a designer because I'm always interested in the world around me. I love to look beyond the surface of things, to explore both the minute detail and the big picture. I am as open-minded as I can be, willing to try new things and take advice from every possible source.
Creativity is needed not only to produce something brilliant, but also to work out how the pieces fit together and turn ideas into a finished product. I try to think about problems in an abstract way, in order to come up with original ideas.
As a designer, I need to think logistically and critically to make things work. My focus is on your needs, wants and goals, in order to come up with a creative and innovative solution, both meaningful and useful.
Communication needs to be clear, so I can understand what you want, in order to create a successful product. My advantage is that I listen well, process feedback, and I’m able to explain design elements without getting too technical.
An image... is not simply a trademark, a design, a slogan or an easily remembered picture. It is a studiously crafted personality profile of an individual, institution, corporation, product or service.
